Journal Ideas
Make a list of positive aspects. Pick a topic or idea that has been on your mind recently and make a list of all the positive aspects of that subject. Try to fill 3-5 pages of positive aspects. The idea here is too, overtime, rewire the brain to automatically see more positive aspects about life and less negative ones. (Topic examples could be about relationships, being single, family disagreements/differences, work life, ect.)
What does a successful life look/feel like to you? Forget about what society thinks of as a ‘successful’ life. Really sit down with yourself and meditate on what a successful looks/feels like to you. Write down everything that comes to mind. And then take some time to reflect on how you define success and assess your own life based on your newfound idea(s) of a successful life.
Mind Vomit. This is a journal prompt that I do often! If you’re like me, and constantly have internal dialogue going on in your brain, then you’ll like this prompt. Grab some paper and just write anything and everything that comes to mind. This can be sentences, words, to do lists, mini doodles, ect. This is a great way to get all of those thoughts out of your head and experience some mental clarity. The more your paper looks like chaos, the better!
